Ty - Mawr means 'Big House' in Welsh, but also 'Big Welcome' in any language! A family run hotel restaurant and bar with a relaxed, warm and friendly atmosphere. Jane and Steve, a brother and sister team run Ty Mawr in a relaxed warm and friendly atmosphere.

Ideally situated within Snowdonia

National Park. The hotel originally a

sixteenth century farm is in the beautiful

village of Llanbedr. Ty Mawr is

surrounded by mountains and

coast with some of the most spectacular

scenery in Britain make this the perfect

location for your trip.

Rooms are spacious, and welcoming, each with individually designed decor, and the lounge is cosy and relaxing, guaranteed to make you feel at home. Whilst you are here why not mingle with the locals in the public bar or simply soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a drink from our excellent selection of very well kept beers, real ales, wine and spirits.

Bar meals and the restaurant menus have an excellent reputation with both residents and locals alike. In the Summer, the garden is a great place for families to relax. In the Winter open fires and comfortable surroundings ensure a warm visit.
